What is the best part of having solar so far?
Greenhouse gases emitted by coal and natural gas fired power plants account for about 25% of all U.S. emissions. Transportation contributes more than 28% of U.S. emissions. These emissions are now contributing to rapid changes in our climate. I wanted to be a part of the solution instead of a part of the problem.
What was the most positive aspect of going solar with Rooftop Solar?
It was not practical to install solar on our roof, but we had an ideal place to install a ground-mounted system. It was a bit of an ordeal to get this approved by our HOA, but we eventually prevailed. Now, instead of feeling the pinch of higher electric bills, we receive a check for the excess electricity that our system produces in all but the coldest months of the winter.
