In June 2024, a Prescott home took solar to the next level by pairing clean energy production with powerful battery storage for true energy independence. Daniel D.’s system features 31 high-efficiency Hanwha Q Cell 410-watt panels, a Tesla central inverter, and two Tesla Powerwall 3 batteries, allowing the household to store excess solar power for nighttime use, ride through outages, and rely far less on the utility while locking in long-term savings.

What was your main motivation for going solar?
Lower ongoing cost, insulation from provider cost increases, and self sufficiency.
What is the best part of having solar so far?
Energy independence and lower ongoing operational costs that are largely insulated from increases.
What was the most positive aspect of going solar with Rooftop Solar?
The team I had was great from start to finish. I am very particular and like to understand every detail of what is happening. The team exceeded expectations from start to finish… but the best part is PTO and starting to recognize returns from the investment.
